The ReDirect Guide has partnered with ShoreBank Pacific, a bank committed to the development of an environmentally sustainable community, and Sustainable Travel International, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the impacts of travel and tourism, to bring you this ground-breaking opportunity.

The ReDirect Guide is a new breed of media company - one that is dedicated solely to creating innovative and effective media that encourages green living and sustainable communities. Our products and services are designed to promote businesses that incorporate environmental and social responsibility, to strengthen community, to provide educational resources, and perhaps most importantly, to make it easy for consumers to find healthy and sustainable products and services in their area. As our name implies, we redirect consumer support to sustainable companies by providing an easy to use guide to green businesses and local resources.

ShoreBank Pacific, a Washington State chartered, FDIC insured bank, is the first commercial bank in the United States with a commitment to environmentally sustainable community development. They believe that long-term community prosperity goes hand-in-hand with a healthy environment. ShoreBank Pacific was formed in 1997 as a joint project of ShoreBank Corp., Chicago (the nation's first community development bank) and Ecotrust (an environmental non-profit). Through their lending programs, they support individual and community efforts to bring together conservation and economic development. With each loan, we provide information on conservation improvements that can increase the value of the borrower's business.

Founded in 2002, Sustainable Travel International (STI) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, dedicated to providing education and outreach services that will lessen the toll that travel and tourism takes on the environment and local cultures. STI is widely regarded for its due diligence in selecting the 'Best in Class' offset projects. All projects have to verifiably reduce greenhouse gas emissions according to international Kyoto protocol and where indicated to the The Gold Standard, they must be Green-e Climate certified, or they must meet the standards set forth by the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance.
