Description
When Garbett Homes decided to build super energy efficient solar and geothermal-powered homes, they also decided to price them for the first-time homebuyer. This is a first for Utah and quite possibly nationwide. Imagine a brand new 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome with a 2 car garage for around $180,000 and then the government gives you a $7,000 Tax Credit because the home is so green. Now imagine adding a pool, clubhouse, exercise facility and a contemporary modern design! Now you have the Summerlane Solar and Geothermal Collection by Garbett Homes in South Jordan. Another prime example of our affordable, new green homes is the new Terrasol Collection - a Solar & Geothermal residential community located close to downtown Salt Lake City at 300 East and Penny Avenue (approximately 3550 South). Come see the models today and learn about how you can afford to live in a brand new home with utility bills as low as $5 per month!

When I was given a personal tour of one of Garbett Homes' models to determine if they would qualify to be in ReDirect Guide, I have to admit, I was highly impresed. As someone with a long term interest in residential green building practices, I saw that Garbett Homes really hit the mark with their new houses, and then deliver a truly surprising treat: affordable pricing. Environmentally responsible new construction with socially responsible pricing, too? Now that is a prime example of sustainable business. See their model green home today, I think you will be equally impressed.
