“ReDirect Guide Find the Fake Ad Contest”

Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. CONTEST RULES MAY BE CHANGED AND POSTED AT WWW.REDIRECTGUIDE.COM FROM TIME TO TIME. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT TO REGULARLY CHECK CURRENT CONTEST RULES. The rules posted at www.redirectguide.com supersede all other previously published rules.

3. Eligibility Restrictions. To participate in the ReDirect Guide Find the Fake Ad Contest (the "Contest"), entrants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the state of Oregon, Washington, Colorado or Utah at the time of entry. Employees and contractors of ReDirect, Inc., ReDirect Guide, Inc., or advertisers in the 2008 Portland AND Salt Lake City AND Colorado editions of the ReDirect Guide and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win.

4. Contest Period. Contest period begins on April 22, 2008 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends on February 1, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

5. How To Enter. Entrants must find the fake ad in the 2008 Portland or Salt Lake City or Colorado editions of the ReDirect Guide. Entrants that have identified the fake ad can submit their entry via (i) the Internet by visiting the website indicated in the fake ad and submitting the information requested on the website or (ii) mail by indicating on the 4” x 6” postcard, your name, street address (including city, state, and zip code), phone number, email address, the name of the company depicted in the fake ad, and the page number on which the fake ad appears. Entrants finding the fake ad should mail their entry to Fake Ad Contest, ReDirect Inc., PO Box 14484, Portland, OR 97293. Incomplete submissions or submissions indicating the wrong fake ad will be disqualified. Entries must be received by ReDirect, Inc. or ReDirect Guide, Inc. no later than February 1, 2009. Only one entry per person is authorized, entrants entering more than once for the contest will automatically have all subsequent entries disqualified. Entries become the property of ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned.

6. ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. shall not responsible for (i) lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) Internet or web server outages and other technical problems that may prevent individuals from submitting an entry.
Two Drawings. Qualified entries from residents of Oregon and Washington will be entered into one pool of entrants ("Portland"). Qualified entries from residents of Utah will be entered into another pool of entrants ("Salt Lake City"). Determination will be based upon the State indicated in the address that is submitted on the entry form.

7. Selection of Winners. Three winners will be selected. One winning entry will be randomly drawn from the Portland pool of all qualified entries on or around February 1, 2009. Another winning entry will be randomly drawn from the Salt Lake City pool of qualified entries on or around February 1, 2009. One winning entry will be randomly drawn from the Colorado pool of all qualified entries on or around February 1, 2009. Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received in each pool.

8. Prize. Three Gift Certificates valued at $500 will be awarded. One gift certificate will be awarded to the winning entry of the Portland pool, another gift certificate will be awarded to the winning entry of the Salt Lake City pool, another gift certificate will be awarded to the winning entry of the Colorado pool. Gift certificates will be issued from and valid at a business of the winner’s choosing, but limited to businesses that have advertised in the 2008 or 2009 edition of the ReDirect Guide for their respective edition, and that issue and accept gift certificates. ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. reserve the right to approve, for any reason, the winner’s gift certificate selection. Entrants acknowledge that not all advertisers in the 2008 or 2009 edition of the ReDirect Guide may offer gift certificates and that ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. shall not be required to provide a gift certificate for those businesses. ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. shall not be responsible for any unused value left on gift certificates that are lost, stolen, or expired. Winner agrees to abide by the terms and conditions associated with the gift certificate that he/she has selected. Winner will be solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any taxes on prize. ReDirect, Inc.and ReDirect Guide, Inc. reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. Winner may waive his or her right to receive prize. Prize is not assignable, not transferable, and not substitutable. No warranties are made with respect to prize.

9. Notification. Winner will be notified by e-mail and phone on the first business day after the drawing. Return of prize notification as undeliverable or failure to acknowledge notification within 5 business days may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law). Failure by the winner to return the affidavit or release within ten (10) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to an alternate winner. All entrants agree to receive, via e-mail, messages pertaining to this contest.

10. Publicity. If you are selected as a contest winner, you agree to allow ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. to publicize your name and picture. Apart from the prize associated with being selected as a winner, ReDirect, Inc and ReDirect Guide, Inc. shall not be obligated to compensate you in any way for such publicity.

11. By entering the Contest, entrants release ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide Inc., its respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents, and advertisers in the ReDirect Guide from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light).

12. By their participation, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules as solely determined by ReDirect, Inc., ReDirect Guide, Inc., and its management. In the event the contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the contest. ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide Inc. reserve the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. reserve the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. reserve the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who fails to comply with these Official Rules, who attempts to enter the Contest in any manner or through any means other than as described in these Official Rules, or who attempts to disrupt the Contest or to circumvent any of these Official Rules.

13. Limitations of Liability. By entering the Contest, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and entrant waives his or her right to a jury trial for such disputes, claims, and causes of action; (2) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.

14. The contest is sponsored by ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. whose decisions regarding the selection of winner and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. ReDirect, Inc. and ReDirect Guide, Inc. will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
