Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine that addresses various health ailments through the use of filiform needles. A form of traditional Chinese medicine, dating back over 5,000 years, acupuncture should only be done by a trained professional. Upon insertion of the needles there should be little to no pain, with the desired outcome to be restoring the Chi (or Qi), which means restoring the free flow of energy through the body.
