Located in the heart of the Alberta Arts District, Exhale is a yoga studio where those who care about the future can focus on the present. We make it our conscious intention to honor and care for the Earth as part of yoga. All of our classes are run on a sliding scale basis, so you pay what you can afford (class packages are also available). Exhale is also a holistic wellness center. We offer something for everyone!

Sustainability Statement

An important part of yoga is to develop not only a higher awareness of how we live in our bodies, but how we live as guests on the earth. Green yoga asks us to bring yoga into the world and live harmoniously with nature. Exhale is a green yoga studio where we actively engage in and promote eco-living practices in our community. The average yoga mat is made of PVC, a toxic chemical that does not biodegrade in landfills. At Exhale, we provide students with eco-friendly jute yoga mats, cork yoga blocks and hemp yoga straps. The floors are cork and the walls are painted with non-VOC paint. Schedules and brochures are all printed on recycled paper. We use only natural, chemical-free cleaning supplies and our web site uses carbon neutral web hosting.
