Position: Sales/Outreach

Job Responsibilities:

  • Client Development and Relationship Building – You are comfortable approaching, evaluating, and soliciting businesses, introducing our services, answering questions, making cold calls, developing conversations and building rapport with strangers, implementing marketing campaigns, and handling objections professionally.
  • Sales – You have acumen in turning opportunity to revenue. In other words, you are skilled in selling the promotional and advertising services that our company is based upon.
  • Marketing and Outreach – You have a tenacious yet tactful approach to educating the public, businesses and community leaders about healthy and sustainable businesses and our company’s mission and services;
  • Client Consulting and Problem Solving – You can help solve our clients’ promotional needs – in person, via email, or over the phone - by listening carefully, advising, and tailoring our various services to meet their needs. You have a genuine concern for the well-being and success of clients.
  • General Contribution – You have the ability, entrepreneurial sensibility, and willingness to do what needs to be done in a small business environment – with a smile and positive attitude.

Job Requirements

  • Honest, respectful, team-oriented, and collaborative approach to sales;
  • Self motivated, able to stay directed and productive without constant supervision;
  • Strong will, genuine desire, and passion to effect positive change;
  • Understanding of healthy and sustainable lifestyles and the principles involved;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and perform under pressure and deadlines;
  • Skill in multi-tasking, discerning priority, and functioning dynamically in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellence in working inside and out of an office environment;
  • Proficiency in PC office software and internet / email applications;
  • Realistic understanding and pragmatic approach to business needs.
  • Clean driving record and reliable, fuel-efficient transportation.

We are a small business that incorporates sales, consulting, graphic design, broad knowledge of environmental, social, health-related, and business-oriented concepts, and many other diverse, wide-application skills. Accordingly, tasks vary from day to day, and we are often able to offer diverse learning and advancement opportunities. Do you enjoy wearing different hats?

We are seeking a F/T employee but we are willing to consider well-qualified candidates for a P/T position. Prior sales, marketing, and/or publishing experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation and benefits are based upon skills, experience, and time dedication; and will include a bonus plan based on company performance.
